Pop Sugar Must Have Box...
This month Pop Sugar sent me their January Must Have Box. Since I'm in college I don't have the chance to go to the store and pick up a bunch of new products all the time so this subscription box is great. I've also tried out the Glossybox, which is mostly makeup, so I like that Pop Sugar has a variety of products in their boxes. Here are my three favorite things that came in the box! Check out everything that I got in this blog post.
If you like any of these products get your own Must Have Box! Also use the code SHOP5 to get $5 off!
1. Hair Towel
This is a really great dupe for the turby twist. I used to have something similar back at home but it didn't make the move to college with me so I was pumped when I saw this in the Pop Sugar Must Have Box. Basically you tie your hair up in the towel, as I've shown, and because it's so compressed your hair dries faster. It's also a lot smaller than a normal towel that you would use to wrap your hair so you can do stuff without worrying about it falling off. My only complaint is that the material isn't super soft on my dry skin. I hate that feeling of dry skin catching on things (ew! right?) and this towel slightly had that sensation. That could completely be a me problem though! I also thing if you washed it with some fabric softener it would go away.
2. Monthly Desk Calendar
I love these desk calendar's but unfortunately my desk in college in tiny. I had some string lights running above some photos on my wall so I decided to attach the first 5 months on to the string lights. I LOVE the way it came out and think I might use these monthly calendars to decorate my apartment next year too!
3.Goldfaden MD Peel Off Mask
I love this mask because it fixes the texture of your skin. I hate when I put on foundation and it sinks in to all the groves in your skin because it's uneven. This mask has folic acid in it to help correct unevenness. All you do it clean your skin, then rub on a little bit of the mask, wait 3 minutes, and then wash it off and moisturize! I have sensitive skin so I've learned that I should leave it on for maybe 1-2 minutes instead of the full 3 or else it stings a bit.

Hey everyone, I bought a lot of new makeup and clothes went I went to college so I found some new essential products that I can't live without!
1. Bucket Bag
I absolutely adore my bucket bag. I found it on sale at St. Bernard Sports and it was the last one they had so I couldn't find a link to it, but I found things similar and similarly priced! This bag is perfect because it doesn't look huge but seriously holds so much. I take this bag everywhere with me, and because it wasn't super expensive I don't mind if a drink accidentally gets spilled on it or it gets a little dirty!
2. White Denim
Forget whoever said that you can't wear white after labor day. I have a pair of ripped white jeans from madewell and a new white denim skirt from boohoo that are my favorites to wear out. I wore the jeans to my friends pledge party and the skirt to a ole miss game and my date event. Both are so versatile and who doesn't look good in white?! Both are linked down below.
3. eos products
I have been really sick this past week at college so I've been breathing a lot through my mouth which has made my lips horribly dry. I love eos lip balms because they really help me maintain smooth lips throughout all the sickness. I apply every morning and night after I brush my teeth, as well as any time I'm about to wear lipstick!
4. Platform Sandals
Platform sandals are great because you get the hight of wedges but there isn't a slant you your feet don't hurt one bit! They're a bit awkward to walk in at first because they're kinda like stilts but I got the hang of it. They're perfect if you want to be more casual than wedges or heels but they still keep your feet above the gross, sticky ground. I found mine on sale at Francescas and unfortunately they have sold out. I linked other great options for great prices down below.
